Visual Fitness Screenings
Whether a person is young or old, good vision is vital to a happy and successful life. However, many people go far too long without having their vision checked.
Our Visual Fitness Screening was developed for those who are not working to their potential whether it be in school, on the job, or on the athletic field.
The Visual Fitness Screening does not replace a complete eye examination, as it does not assess visual health or determine a glasses prescription. However, our screening does probe critical visual skills necessary for comfortable, sustainable, and efficient performance.
There are numerous visual disorders that can be detected and treated if caught early. Respected health organizations now warn that good vision in children is directly linked to their ability to learn. The American Public Health Association points out that 25% of students in kindergarten through sixth grade have visual problems serious enough to impede learning.
Good vision isn't limited only to children. Seniors are not content to go "quietly into the night." They want to be active and productive as long as they can. Early detection of eye problems is paramount. For children, it could "light their way" to the future. For seniors, it could recapture the vision they thought they had lost. For everyone else, it is a wise investment in helping you lead a fuller and more productive life.
